Transit Through Rome?
I'm thinking of flying from the US to Russia via Rome (FCO). Can I transfer from terminal 5 to 3 without going through passport control? I'm Russian and don't want to go through the Italian visa hassle.

Well... I did but figured that those who fly to Russia have more relevant experience with European transit than those who live in Europe. Generally speaking, people are not aware of their countries' immigration laws. Americans don't have a clue about U.S. immigration laws. Europeans ... well, you got the point. So. Are there Russians who traveled through Rome?
