What does this logo signify?
It's from a TU-104. Looks like "Illy" to me, but that's just a guess...

Hello, you're right, it looks like Illy in Latin alphabet, but this is actually the Soviet era Tu(polev) Design Bureau logo - TU spelled in Russian/Cyrillic.

For the benefit of the person asking the question, it's basically cyrillic for TU short for Tupolev aircraft company, but written in the more formal, elegant and proper cursive alphabet.
