Yakutsk lost direct flights to Moscow?

I'm most likely due to fly to Yakutsk from Moscow for work in about 4 weeks, yet there seems to be no sign of any sort of direct flight anywhere, despite Aeroflot, Yakutia, S7 and supposedly Nordwind all flying there directly. Can anyone shed some light as to why this may be the case? I know for sure Aeroflot serves Yakutsk on at least a daily basis but there seems to be nothing with them (my airline of choice). The closest I can seem to find is via Novosibirsk (or even a second stopover beforehand!)

It seems the route will be cancelled in the route reorganisation 2 days later, along with some routes transferred to Rossiya.

I can't find Yakutia OR S7 flights either!! plus I don't believe Yakutsk is affected by the Rossiya transfer either.

Can you phone one of the airlines and ask about the situation?

I stand corrected - I was able to find Yakutia on their website, guess they don't really come up much on things like Skyscanner for example. But incidentally enough, many other destinations or even valid connections don't show as a result of S7 or Aeroflot not appearing anywhere. Very unusual. I'll give it a few more days and see how it goes.

Flew there from Vnukovo (I recall) some years ago - Yakutia Tu-154. Great experience!

In any case, checking OAG data:
- Nordwind seem to have only a 1 x weekly flight SVO-YKS (departure 0730am on Fridays)
- Yakutia fly from VKO typically 2 x daily from what I can see

Yeah, I found them eventually, eventually went for Yakutia, but interestingly enough, when flying back from Irkutsk this afternoon, the Aeroflot inflight magazine didn't even list Yakutsk as a destination...

How was your flight with Yakutia?

Did you stay at the 'Polar Star' hotel in Yakutsk?

Oh I haven't gone there yet! I'm doing so in 2 weeks time. No idea where I'm staying either and likely won't find out until I arrive at YKS!
