S7 ticket sales

Anyone know how far in advance S7 start selling tickets?

I might be looking to purchase using Avios (dependent on cash price of ticket). Does anyone know if Avios availability shows as soon as ticket sales start?

At present if I look to buy cash or Avios seats I can't seem to get anything beyond March 2018.

I tried making a dummy booking and can confirm that I see S7 booking horizon up until 12th of June 2018 on Moscow to London route. Theoretically, if the cash tickets are available, avios tickets should be available too, but I think you better check with BA by calling them. Avios tickets might have a different release schedule...

Thanks for the reply.
I can see availability Moscow to London for that date, but its BA metal.
I can't see any availability for internal flights Moscow to Sochi after 24th March, so 8 months away. Yet when I enquired directly with S7, they advised that sale of tickets starts 6 month before the date of departure.

I'm confused.

They seem to be like southwest in that it's not fixed.

There seems to be some controversy about internal Russia tickets after June 12 at the moment. The airlines are trying to capitalize on the World Cup but Russia also promised easy logistical travel. When June opened, Aeroflot was making only it's highest fare classes available for travel to World Cup cities from MOW, including charging about 5x the normal fare for the LED shuttle. The flights also showed all zeroes on expert flyer for awards, even though SU inter EU or Russia is usually pretty open. SU got called on it a couple of days ago, claimed it was a "mistake,"was forced to apologize, and has pulled all the fares.

Who knows when they will come back. Best guess is there are some discussions happening right now at fairly high levels about World Cup routes in June and July.
