We're about to lose another airline... (Transaero)
 

Those who have lusted after flying in Imperial Class on Transaero may be out of luck if they haven't already booked a ticket. The airline, which was originally slated to be sold to Aeroflot per an announcement last month, will liquidate and shut down prior to the end of the year.

Transaero is Russia's second largest airline and is 25 years old.

Meanwhile, its employees have started a petition to save it. (The petition is in Russian and on change.org here.)
