Aeroflot Check-in
Is anyone experiencing this problem on the Aeroflot website?
I cannot check-in online for my flight and would like to select an aisle seat...

Hopefully the problem is resolved by the time I come to check-in again September 17th.

Didn't feel it was necessary to create a new thread for this question so just bumping one of my old SU threads.
On my online bonus account I am checking my reservation for CAN>SVO>LHR on 17th September.
Next to the status it says: Reconfirmed. What does 'reconfirmed' mean? I haven't checked in online for this flight due to it being a month away and only have myself flying under this booking.
Any ideas?
PS. I'd like to do a paid upgrade from CAN>SVO but I think that's impossible

@ joe, I have no idea what the reconfirmed it. However, I will share my experience with online seat selection. If you purchase their "promo" or "budget" fares you do not have the opportunity to pick your seats in advance. It gets really annoying at times. If you purchased a higher fare, then I am not sure what to say.

So, my guess is they're just changing small details on the flight times
(mine have been shifted backwards and forwards again, just 10min but both times got reconfirmed again)

That means they made changes to your flight (time, equipment or class of service) and got a confirmation from you or your representative you are still okay to take it.
By law if they make a change (no matter how small), this is a change to the agreement and the other party (i.e you) may decline and get a full refund regardless of fare restrictions.
What is most probably happening - SU is sending their notifications to your agent who re-confirms on your behalf.

Not quite. You can chose seats online at the time of purchase if booked in M, U, K, H, L, Y, or B fares (Optimum and Premium fare buckets).
Silvers and Gold can choose a seat even when booked in lower fare (i.e. Q, T, E, N, or R) but must call Aeroflot to do so.
