LH to UTAir interline baggage?

LH to UTAir interline baggage?
Travelling FRA to VKO on a LH business class award (with *A Gold) and possibly as many as two (free) bags to check. I want to then connect after customs clearance in Russia on a domestic UTAir flight. I have read some preliminary reports of UTAir toying with entering *A, and also for possibly having struck some baggage agreements with LH, TK, and maybe others.
Should LH in Germany be able to tag my bags through to my final Russian destination, or would I have to re-check them in Moscow with UTAir, and pay what I expect would be exorbitant fees? (Their bag fee policy seems pretty harsh.)
