Gold Elite - upgrade likelihood at Ritz-Carlton Tokyo?

I've booked using a corporate rate. Do I have any chance of being upgraded? I called and the agent told me he added notes (not viewable by me) to my reservation for the hotel to see, around how it's my honeymoon (it is) and that I'd appreciate an upgrade.

Thoughts?

Have only stayed at the Ritz Tokyo once as a Gold on a corporate rate, but did get upgraded to an amazing club suite. Good luck!

If you have the points, you may want to contact them and ask if you can use points to upgrade to the club level. Did that a couple years ago and it was totally worth it.
