Gett (Israel)
Generally, this worked well. I've not tried it in the UK, but transiting the UK and having the phone on caused it to go a bit wonky (i.e., temporarily causing the account to be blocked due to suspicious activity). But here was the catch re: payment.
I loaded a US Amex card before the trip. No problem. Then, when I first went to use it in Israel, it wouldn't book a ride because of the form of payment. I then tried to load a US Visa card, which it would not take at all. I then tried to load a US Mastercard, which worked, and was my form of payment for all the rides, without issue. |

How interesting, because "Get" is the Hebrew word for divorce.
Then again, remember the Chevy Nova, which they had to change the name of in Latin American, since Nova in Spanish means "Won't go." |
