Trouble in South Africa for Uber
 
There are reports of fighting and petrol bombing between Uber drivers and metered-taxi drivers in South Africa, the familiar 'unfair competition' claims, especially in Gauteng (Sandton). Police don't seem too keen on intervening.

I've happily used Uber in Cape Town and Western Cape and was looking forward to using them on my next trips to Gauteng. I'm hoping they can get over this soon.
