in which cities are UberX commercial drivers
 

I'm not a huge fan of UberX; at least here in BLtimore where I find the quality of drivers to be hit are miss. Love it in NYC where they are all licensed livery drivers. What other cities does UberX operate as commercial drivers?

In the US, I think NYC is pretty much the only city where that is a requirement.

Uber Black is all Commercial drivers, Uber X was designed as a way for regular drivers to become their "own boss" using their vehicle. Vehicles must fit guidelines, but otherwise, most drivers are on normal class licenses.

I've heard that UberX in Paris and London is also commercially staffed. Any confirmation?

A driver in Paris confirmed last time we were there that once they removed the UberPop service they are now all commercial drivers. Not sure about London.

I've added Dublin to the list. In Dublin, when you call an UberX, be on the lookout for a standard taxi. When you get email receipt (in euros), you'll see the standard taxi price, minus a 10% discount for using UberX.
