Uber Question Re: Surcharges
As big a geek as I am, I will be using Uber for the first time in two weeks. I will be going from a CDG airport hotel to an apartment near the Serrier Metro stop. There will be three of us with luggage. I assume I want a van? Does Uber surcharge extra passengers. I'm seeing a 70 Euro price tag which I'm fine with. Besides tips, what other charges should I expect.
Should I switch my phone number in my account to the French number assigned by Toggle?

I think you will get more answers if you move your question to this thread:

I think most people don't tip Uber driver, because you have to tip in cash as the app does not have a tip option. I don't think Uber has a "van" option, at least not in the US. There are UberXL and UberSUV in the US and I don't know if those are available in Europe. They don't charge for extra passenger as long as everyone fit in the car type. You will get better answers from the above 2 links.

Btw, no surcharge for 3 passengers, no tipping expected by driver and should you wish to do so, cash is king

Thanks for the info and referral. The car selection options were different once I changed my pickup location to France. You could get an Uber ride share, Uber, Uber black car, or Uber van. My best friend is meeting us at the CDG Ibis. He flies for five weeks in France and my wife and I for one week. I'm assuming there will be a lot of luggage on his end (particularly since he is probably carrying his wife's stuff as well. She is detouring via Belarus).
