Ibotta is a shopping cashback app. Kind of like an app based shopping portal. It also lets you earn at brick and mortar stores by taking photos of receipts.
In the case with Uber, all you would need to do is launch Ibotta, then hit the Uber button in Ibotta to launch Uber (like a click-through) and that's all you need to do to earn. The only caveat is that you can't cash out until you have $20 worth of earnings/rebates on the app. |

Seattle promo through Jan. 5, 2018
Not necessarily the most exciting, but perhaps some folks could make use of it . . .
---------------------------- Seattle boasts a strong and growing public transportation system, but there may be places you want to go that aren’t close to public transit. That’s where Uber comes in. We’re committed to making Seattle’s public transportation more accessible and efficient—let us get you door-to-door even when you’re on a budget. For a limited time, enter the promo codeTRANSIT into your Uber app, choose uberX or uberPOOL, and get a $3.50 discount on your rides to or from select transit stations. Why $3.50? That’s the equivalent cost of the most expensive public transit fare from any of these stations. How it works:

Anyone live in New Orleans?
Today, enter promo code GALANTIS and at 6pm start trying to order to get your chance to see a free concert during Voodoo Fest. I actually did this in Milwaukee last year and got a pair of free Bose QC25 headphones, and tickets to see Phil Vassar. Pretty cool. |
