I'm reporting this issue to our Merchant Content team--they should be able to correct the listing.

Thanks for the catch!

One (1) Mile Per Dollar ?

Just did a restaurant search and discovered that all restaurants were listed as one (1) mile per dollar reward! In fact, I spent $30 at a restaurant last week and the website shows I earned 30 miles - ridiculous. Not sure if it's a website malfunction but I would certainly not be motivated to eat at a participating restaurant for 1 mile per dollar.

It's been a very long time since I last added a partner program, but it seems you didn't create a "profile", which would have yielded you 3 miles/dollar for your first 11 dines and then (a whopping!) 5 miles/dollar thereafter. Even that's not all that hot, but most partners have had several promos each year to make the program worthwhile, usually along the lines of "2000 bonus miles after 4 dines of $25 each" or "2000 bonus miles for each $200 spent" during a 60-day (sometimes 90) period.

Actually, I'm a "VIP" member of the United Dining Rewards program and had been earning 5 miles per dollar until my last dine. I did requalify last year so I don't have a clue why I am being rewarded only one mile per dollar now.

Please call them and report back what they tell you!

JDiver Feb 6, 2010 5:49 pm

I am earning 5 miles per dollar, as witnessed by most recently logged dine, and my area restaurants are showing as normally they issue five miles per dollar.

Please do call, and let us now what happens.

This threadlet will move to the Glitches thread. / Moderator

RN can not deal with Hilton HHonors Mutual Fund Account

Lady JDiver and I have a Hilton HHonors Mutual Fund account (no new ones are generally possible, but the existing ones still work) - both of us have HH Diamond VIP cards and all HHonors points accrue to the single account, regardless of who spends or stays.

Lady JDiver attempted to open a Hilton HHonors Dining account yesterday to register and begin accruing points to our account; her account was rejected.

A call to Rewards Network customer service revealed in information that it is not possible to use the same frequent guest account in more than one RN account. The unsupportive CSR basically let me know that's the way it is; it may work for HHonors, it will not work for Rewards Network, full stop.

The workaround was to register Lady JDiver's HHonors Surpass card in my HHonors Dining account.

For rgronenb's problem, I suspect that e-mails from Rewards Network are bouncing back to them, so you've been demoted to the 1 mile membership level. The higher levels all require a working e-mail address.

Rewards network finally replied to my e-mail and claimed their e-mails to me were not getting through my spam filter. Obviously untrue as my filter only puts suspected spam in a separate box but does not reject any e-mail. The fact that I got their reply confirms this. I have appealed their decision and will see if they are a reputable company and provide retroactive mileage credit.

RN continues to work pretty well, but while I use them less there are more failures to post. I recently sent documentation in support of $130 dine which then posted quickly. I pretty much ignore +/- $10 non-posts, and that good karma got repaid when a small dine that I didn't have showed up...unless of course Mrs. Jailer took a redeye to Pennsylvania for a $12 clandestine lunch for two, which would kinda cancel that good karma thing.

No problems for all year then, bam, three non-posts totaling almost $500 in a month: likely bad luck.

RN’s back office has disintegrated to the point that I am batching non-posts for efficiency reasons, and have five that I am about to send. Presently I am experiencing a failure rate in the 25-33% range and am now calculating the effort to submit potential missing dines and passing on some RN opportunities. In fact, I’m feeling a bit of a dupe when I do go out of my way for a RN dine. Mayhaps they have put too much effort on expansion and not enough on infrastructure? RN has surpassed AA eShopping for sloth, and that's not a good place to be.

I had two failures for dines the same week. I scanned the receipts together as one document that I attached with a cover note breaking down the missing points. Waited over a week (7 business days); after that I resent it clearly marked SECOND REQUEST, which posted within a couple of days. In this case the problem seems to be that one terminal (restaurant) captures RN charges, but the other (bar) does not.

I have long felt that RN will post the miles with "proof" but has absolutely no interest in resolving the situation going forward.

I think I've finally found a mobile site worse than FT. RN's mobile site wont let me log in. It just loops between the login screen, the security screen, and the front page. When I try the desktop site, my mobile browser (Apple iPhone 6S+ running iOS 9.3.5) errors out saying that there are too many redirects.

having issues with most of my dines not posting - they are telling me its new software some restaurants are using.

any patterns you detect?
