2015 Roll Call
28,125 AA miles: nice uptick from last year helped by a USAir 2,000 miles new member bonus that was then merged with AA.
Reversing a four year downward trend, I show past years' earnings as proof that the bonus-laden/10 miles per $ old days were in fact better. Much better: 2014: 19,303 2013: 23,593 2012: 28.151 2011: 69,194 2010: 90,095 2009: 84,980 2008: 135,097 2007: 117,774 2006: 121,518 2005: 122,031 2004 and prior years: 230,389 |
AA is my main program but I also belong to three other programs as well. I am VIP in all four programs. I earned about 5800 miles with AA and about 1200 in each of the other programs.

Lowest total for me since I joined the program with a whopping 3,277 UA points in 2015! Really a joke considering I was trending around 20k per year in recent years off high years in which i was close to 50k. Wonder if the program will still be around much longer.

I ground out re-qualification in four programs ... just barely, with the last of those dines on Dec. 28th. I don't recall a single promotion all last year, so this year I may be tempted not to have "food runs" (usually a single drink) to get in all those. We'll see ...
