Promotions Thrifty Colombia

Here are some good deals at thrifty colombia website. Check it out http://www.thriftycolombia.com/es/tarifas/cali.html.
Remember you have to alquilar carros or alquilar autos with the best. I have a lot of good experiences with Thrifty around Colombia.

Regards,

New deals posted, including some great one-way deals ($1/day to Florida from the Midwest and Northeast)! Check the first post for the full list. A :-: means a deal is new since the last update.

Thanks, genciso! Welcome to FlyerTalk! I'll definitely take a look at that when I get the time to put together a comprehensive list.

Updated with codes from the Thrifty 11/24 email. Enjoy!

582 - 15% off OGG (Maui)

582 - 15% off my OGG (Maui) 1-week rental
Haven't tried the code elsewhere.

Wed 2/3/10 - Wed 2/10/10
$220.70 + taxes/fees = $286.71
$186.96 + taxes/fees = $247.65 (with 582)

rad10, AFCC, and AU11 didn't change the $220.70 weekly rate.
WMRT, SAMS, and AAA didn't work.
The 582 rate appeared when the Thrifty website gave me a "hot deal".

Orbitz prices: Advantage $269, National-Avis $468-495.

Last year my Maui rental cost $161 ai, so I'm hoping rates will drop, and I can refare the reservation.

P.S. Retailmenot has some Thrifty codes http://retailmenot.com/view/thrifty.com

Rather than post the code, I'm just going to keep the suggestion to click Hot Deals on Page 1, since the promo code is automatically filled in and changes occasionally. (For reservations before Dec. 31, it appears to be 101, and then it's 582 next year--easier just to click Hot Deals.)

Thanks for sharing!

Jackal, this thread is a great asset to both Thrifty and FlyerTalkers. Come to think of it, so are you. ^

Thanks for taking the time to put all of this information together and answer questions. Even as a long time Blue Chip member, there's a lot of great information here that I was unaware of.

I don't think Hot Deals promos and corporate discount numbers can be combined. You're welcome to try, though! Let us know if you have success.

Interesting! I'm not familiar with those.

The only vouchers I've seen are the dollar-off vouchers issued by Customer Care in response to a complaint. Are these vouchers you get valid at any location? Are they just a perk you guys get from a nice employer or something? Strange I've never seen or heard of these before...

New Deals at Thrifty

http://www.thrifty.com/Deals/Feature...=&SearchParam=

Of particular interest, Discount code 2COM2, which gets you a minivan for $45 at select locations from now through 3/31/10. This discount saved me over $700 on a minivan reservation in Florida trip for an upcoming trip in February.

Odd. I have never seen one of these corporate coupons. I've seen tons and tons of people booked with corporate rates, but I've never seen any paper coupons (or electronic coupons, for that matter--Thrifty doesn't do electronic coupons) on top of the regular corporate rate. What does it do? If you hand in the coupon, does it take an extra percentage off or something? Does it specify it's only valid at certain locations or on certain rates or something?

Orlando Magicard Discounts

I booked a car using the Orlando Magicard because it included extra drivers fee! I see on Thrifty's web site it now doesn't show it includes extra driver? Will they honour the rate or try to charge me more?

Unfortunately, you have to watch these things very closely. They change their programs and promotions, and not always notify you or credit/discredit end consumer in time
