Booking rental car on the local website from another country...any issues?

I am in the process of booking a rental car in Italy for September and I am Hertz 5 Star based in the US. If I go on hertz.com I get one rate but if I go to hertz.it (local site for Italy) and book as a guest I get a substantially lower rate for the exact same car. This is a splurge rental of a luxury car so the difference is ~$500.

Am I breaking any rules by booking on hertz.it? I can't seem to find anything that says I am...love to hear if anyone has done similar. Thanks!

Based on past experiences, you should be just fine. Folks do this all the time. Enjoy your trip and splurge rental.

No. On the other hands, Hertz may be in big trouble.
