pointsgirl,

The best I could do for your trip (Florida on June 16th and returning June 24th; renting at Fort Myers) is with Avis
USE Avis' AWD D454000 (from Disney123)
You may search for lowest rate (Corporate benefits may not apply) or corporate rate (AWD required) but if you leave the AWD out (even if you search for the lowest rate), the price will go up!

Result:
Subcompact Chevrolet Aveo or similar 143.84 USD
Compact Chevrolet Cobalt or similar 146.99 USD
Intermediate Pontiac G6 or similar 158.54 USD
Standard Size Chevrolet Monte Carlo or similar 163.78 USD
Full Size Chevrolet Impala or similar 163.78 USD

Anything bigger than a Full Size will cost you dearly!

Alamo.com discount codes for August?

Has anyone seen the alamo.com discount codes for August? I've seen ones posted here through 7/31, and they work quite well. However, I need to book a car in August.

Some of the ones through affiliation programs (costco, aaa, etc.) offer $25 or so off weekly rentals, but they make you book a fairly high category.

ETBX6F 20% off expires 6/30/07.
ETBX6G 20%off 5 day rental

Enjoy
These codes are from the Entertainment Book. The new 2007 codes are just the old ones with '6' changed to '7'. For example, ETBX6A is now ETBX7A.

Does anyone know of any good rates for LAS for July? I'm looking for the cheapest rental possible for 4 whole days from 7/13 - 7/17. Using some of the rates codes listed above, Enterprise is sold out and the cheapest I found through Alamo was $130, including taxes/fees.

Thanks!

need a coupon valid for 2-day weekend rental

i need to rent a car at dia on a friday afternoon and return it on sunday morning. none of the coupons on this site work for 2 day weekend rentals. and none of the corporate codes are giving more than a $3-5 discount. economy cars are renting for $43+taxes+fees/day. any suggestions? hotwire has cars for $25/day and i'm trying to see if priceline can beat that but the 72hour lock-out is killing me.

I'm a newbie to forums, but this looks great. I'll be renting a car in Boston (BOS Logan Airport) - pickup Sunday August 12th 10:00am, dropoff Saturday August 25th 5:00pm. Price on Alamo.com is $675. total, including upgrade coupon & discount!!
Anyone know of a better price, and any good codes? (Never used codes but I think I get it) Doesn't have to be Alamo. Economy model fine with an upgrade code to compact...? We also need 1-2 extra drivers.

Thanks in advance for your help! :-:

$520.12 on Alamo.com for a compact including taxes and fees using contract ID 7013604 and coupon ID AD3829MRB. The ID is use an AMEX card - they never check and the the coupon is an Internet coupon. Does not include extra drivers though.
