I think it may have something to do with the British connection with India. There has been an Indian Jewish community in London for at least 40 years, probably more. |

Actually, you can get Moses Tandoor stuff in indivual portions (or did you really mean potions? ;-)) in most of the kosher deli places in Hendon / Golders Green. Certainly Kays / B-Kosher (both of them). Plus there's a potential fourth Indian kosher place in Hendon, to be called Bombay Express. Located at the Quadrant (corner of Brent Street and Church Road / Finchley Lane). I heard that it's owned by the Moses Tandoor people, but it's been almost-open for many weeks now. Anyone know why it hasn't seen the light of day? |
