I haven't flown that flight in a number of years, but when I did they served me a Hermolis meal that they heated late and inadequately (it should be posted somewhere here)

Big issue with DL catering though is on flights from JFK to Europe, the breakfast meal is a DAIRY meal even though there isn't 6 hours between Dinner & Breakfast. Sent an email to Borenstein once and they told me it was DL's responsibility to order a different breakfast.
As to the other question about flights from LHR. DL doesn't use Hermolis -- the food comes from Stogel and it is atrocious. Not sure why they use such a poor caterer when you have Hermolis right there.

AA LAX to JFK redeye in business
This is what I received on December on AA 10. No tray setup. I didn't recognize the supposed hashgacha, so I didn't touch it. Emailed AA and LSG that it's unacceptable, still waiting to hear back.
Update: AA replied with an apology and 5000 miles per person. LSG sent me a detailed email and plans to include the hashgacha label in the future.

Where to start, 1- AA serves a Y meal in Biz on its transcons, 2- even UA doesnt offer a meal on its red-eyes, 3- just cauise you dont know whose hashgacha it is and wont eat it plenty of others would,4- AA doesnt have to offer kosher food that each and everyone will eat, I usually see many Hassidim pass on UAs Regal meals cause their own Rebbe didnt put his name on it even thou it has numerous Hassidic Ravs name on it
On a recent OS Biz flight to VIE I got a Weiss meal where the entree was Kosh Air with a Weiss label over it and a Y meal to boot

My issue wasn't that it was a hashgacha I don't hold off as much as the lack of a trademarked symbol. Without that, there's no evidence of any hashgacha, even if I knew who the rabbi was.
Not sure what you mean about AA serving a Y meal in J on the transcon. From jfk they definitely serve a J KSML on china. LAX was weak last year to all destinations, but the listeria shakeup has changed some things.

the last time I flew AA in J a couple of years ago or longer, I was given a Y meal tray (Y doesnt get fed on the transcons at least no KSML. yet get china, nice to know they stepped up their game
Oh you want to see the Logo, I get it but not every heckshar has one, eg Teitz in Elizabeth, maybe he does i never saw it but I know he can be trusted. So if R' Hayut only certifys LGs meals or a couple of things most likely no logo. Hayut sounds Sefardi to me

I recently flew DL and we got a KSML that was complete unedible. Everything was frozen solid like a block. Seems everything was wrapped in plastic and the DL FA refused to do anything about it since she couldn't open it per KSML rules and she refused to put the item in the oven or anything since it was wrapped in plastic.
To whom do I complain - Borenstein or DL?

AA95 (MAD-JFK) in J. Served Hermolis on China.
I had feared they would serve the junk that their local partner IB serves so I brought my own food along. I was very pleasantly surprised

A bit late, but I actually got Rabbi Kantor on SQ919 (MNL-SIN) in Dec'17. Was expecting Hermolis.. which I did get on the SIN-MNL sector.
Can only say that Hermolis is superior to Rabbi Kantor in terms of taste. The green curry was a rather.. cool and funky colour. Didn't finish it, naturally.
