@craz indeed I was quite disappointed that they serve Stogel long life in business class. Long live my adventurous spirit!

Cx260 cdg-hkg 2019 feb

CX260 CDG-HKG (daytime noon departure)
2019 Feb

Premium Economy class

Lunch:
  • chocolate mousse cake
  • sliced pickled vegetables (carrots?)
  • apple puree
  • bread with butter
  • mains: rice with assorted vegetables (diced green beans, corn, carrot, bell pepper), pan-fried fish with a sauce with chicken pea

Breakfast:
  • croissant, bread roll, butter, strawberry jam
  • apple puree
  • cup pf sealed orange juice
  • mains: scrambled egg, broccoli, baked beans in tomato sauce

*****************************
Comment:
Another meh meal from Langerhuize. For the lunch, the pickled sliced vegetables is a rather cheap way to offer an appetizer. The fish main with chicken peas was borderline tasteless, but the salt and pepper pack saved the day. Fish was tender though. Chocolate mousse cake was fairly ok. They cut the chocolate praline (see last example here.

For the breakfast, croissant and bread roll were fresh. But the mains still represented the worst of Langerhuize quality: tasteless beans (how could baked beans in tomato sauce be tasteless????), flaky, fragmented scrambled egg. The only saving grace was the colour of the broccoli, cup of sealed orange juice and the salt and pepper pack.

CX339 HKG-BRU (2019 Feb)

CX339 HKG-BRU (2019 Feb)

First meal service: supper
The meal was exactly the same as in my my previous HKG-SIN flight:
https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/30266655-post6.html

Pre-arrival meal service: breakfast
The meal was exactly the same as in my my previous HKG-TPE flight:

Unfortunately for both meals they weren't hot enough. And for the first meal, the packed water was still frozen.
