E-certs not working to reserve a room
I am having trouble using my E-certs to reserve rooms. i have tried many hotels and used the E-cert a few ways and it doesn't work. At first I thought it was a problem with the extended E-certs but even the new ones don't work. Do anyone have any tips?

Club Carlson has the worst IT in the world, and incredibly the phone agents can't book it for you.
What you have to do is make your e-cert booking without logging in. Go ahead and enter your e-cert number manually when searching. At the very last moment, after you have selected your room and are ready to enter your credit card information as a guarantee, it will say you have to log-in to do that. Once you log-in at that point it will accept your e-cert as valid. This is truly a terrible rewards program. |

Are you all still having issues? We tried the tips above but they didn't work for us (yet). In my opinion, these certificates are unusable on the web site.
Our backstory on this is very frustrating. We have tried multiple ECerts bookings on 3 different accounts. I've been trying to use these certs for a booking and talked to multiple agents over a 8-10 week time span. We've logged on using different computers, IP addresses, on the app, and tried using all of our different accounts and all of the different certs that we have. I've made many calls in addition to the time I've spent trying to book online. Amazingly, the phone agents cannot book a room using an Ecert. If you can get an agent to try to make the booking for you, they will be unsuccessful too. The telephone agents have had the same errors that we have had. There are a multitude of errors, including " You do not have enough points for this booking," (Huh? It's a room voucher and doesn't use points!), "This room type not available for the payment you are using", "We're having trouble with with our website, try again later," etc. Sometimes the error shows up quickly, sometimes it shows up at the final step. If the customer service agents can't book it, and we can't book it, how exactly is someone supposed to book the room using an Ecertificate? |
I am having same issue. Tried mobile app, desktop browser without signing in. No luck.
Time to dump Radisson visa credit card. |

Time to dump Radisson visa credit card. - First, search for availability for the desired travel dates. - Second, choose the desired hotel. - Third, look for the Best Available Rate online for our Standard rooms. - Fourth, fill-out the reservation information page, input radisson number manually in this step. - Next, look for the option to use an e-Cert indicated, "I have an e-Cert". Then, kindly provide the e-Cert code and hit "Apply". - Once this is approved, the total rate breakdown will turn to USD 0.00. - Lastly, confirm the booking. |

Anyone share anything else that's working for you? |
I did file a complaint with the BBB against the hotel chain. I haven't heard back yet, presumably because when they looked into it, they discovered that the whole IT system needs an overhaul. This is an ongoing and systemwide problem, as near as I can tell.
If you're inclined to complain to the higher ups, I suspect that US Bank would like to know that these spend incentives aren't working. I had a US bank rep on the phone for an unrelated inquiry, and she was very interested to note that the certs aren't working. She did put in a note, but a Customer Service notation obviously doesn't have the same clout as a BBB complaint. |

This is not working either. Tried to call customer service and they are saying unless it says it's a standard room, you cannot book it. I've tried when it says One King Bed. That doesn't work either.

Did you try without logging in?

Cannot book these via web or through customer service.
I'm considering contacting a class action lawyer. |
How can we get action from Radisson to fix the issue? I mentioned they need to let IT know about the issue a few times.
