Just curious if anyone has been....We have reservations in February and would like to get some feedback on the hotel.

Hi there,

I spent a weekend there in 2001. The hotel is a bit outside of Acapulco, south east I believe. One could walk there from Acapulco but we took taxis everytime we returned back in the nights.

The room standard of the hotel was allright but nothing special. At that time the furniture was a bit roustiqe, with almost a "log" or mountain design of the beds. Swimmingpool was also nice with a "in-water bar". The beach was a bit small but had umbrellas etc.

I you are staying on award miles, staying there just to accrue miles or got a good price or a special deal it is worh staying there, otherwise you may be better of staying at one of the more centrally located hotels.

All in all it was a nice atmosphere with some charm.

Acapulco i belive his name now is excalibur an all inclusive hotel mostly for local mexican tourists looking old and with poor service I stayed there 4 years ago.
