The Global Concierge service
 

Is the Club Carlson Global Concierge service of any use? How quickly do they respond, and is the quality of the responses sufficient?

What kind of requests have you used them for?

The Global Concierge service
 

Used them to find a particular cuisine restaurant in a city. Called in the evening and was told I would hear from them the next day. Got an email with a list of recommended restaurants the next day around 5pm.

So far a disappointment.
Asked for booking tickets for festival that were hard to get (but not impossible) and they failed.
Also for special reward requests they just transfer to reservations.

Haven't found any usefullness for them.

I wanted to test the service, and concur that it seems to be a poor "benefit". I emailed them on Saturday asking about some LA recommendations (for instance a wine tasting tour operator). They promised to do research and get back to me "no later than 1:00pm, Wednesday, October 2, 2013". Still haven't heard anything...
