I paid in Mid April - statement closed last months between the 2nd and 4th - this month it has not cut > maybe tomorrow
BTW the Q should be when it was billed not paid

Well, yes and no. If you were billed but never paid, you wouldn't get a refund.

As noted in my original post attempting to be helpful, there are other ways you could have avoided paying the fee. Regardless, I wish you luck.

Yea a couple of weeks back - called and “fell through the cracks” - promised escalation and 5-7 day resolution

I now see the fee refund for July. Annual fee posted in Sept, so I only got around $18 back. Thought I'd get more!

Didn't see it right after statement cut, but do see it now. Check again.

Had to call and they fixed it and gave me 100% back
Cancelled the “replacement” card and now the wait for the check started

My annual fee posted January 4th. My statement used to close around the 3rd of the month, give or take a day (and in that month, it closed Jan 4).

My most recent statement closed July 5th and I received a prorated refund of my annual fee of $43.75 on that specific day. I did not reach out to them about this.

From the rate they are processing these, I wouldn't be surprised if this is a partially manual process on their end.

I now see my prorated annual fee refund posted so likely a matter of time for most after you activate the new card.

Mine posted before I activated the card, so I don't think related.

Bizarre! How can a credit post if you have no actual credit card account if the RR Visa was closed? Or are you saying the credit posted on the RR Visa account BEFORE the card was replaced?
