Did anyone who received the letter NOT spend $10k on the card?

Can't tell whether this is the regular benefit kicking in or something new.

I spent no where near that. I spent the required $2,500 to get the sign-up bonus and that's it.

Man I am jealous! I have had the card 2 years spent less than 10K no offers.
Live in Chicago. Hopefully Monday? Any way to verify with Club Carlson or US Bank this if I accidentally trashed the letter?

Thanks. Did you recently spend the annual fee?

I may have trashed the letter as well but, according to the previous post, Club Carlson will send us an email regarding the E-certificate (if we are part of the target group). So not sure if calling helps.

So what's the best/most expensive property at which to use the free night?

I have not gotten anything and I have had the card for a few years. I also never got 30k points from one stay that was recently offered supposedly.

I did not receive a letter or email or ecert in my account. I called CC and USBank customer service and no one knew anything about any type of letter people are receiving.

Maybe this is targeted?

I am in the same boat. Either it's targeted or the notifications and e-certs are going out in batches. But it sounds like a LOT of people received letters last week, including some who had already closed their accounts.

If this is in fact targeted, there's going to be a lot of ill will from those who do not receive the free night.

I called to ask US Bank again just to make sure and they transferred me this time to a "specialist." After being on hold for 30 mins the specialist told me that someone will "review" my account in 48hrs to determine whether I am eligible for the free certificate.

Totally agree. Very ill will for those that don't receive the free night. Isn't someone getting paid a lot of money up there in an office to make sure that customers feel treated well and fairly?
