*You are eligible to earn 3,000 Gold Points if you qualify to participate and then properly submit your responses to this survey by Wednesday, April 17 at 11:59 PM (GMT-05:00) Central Time (US). A maximum of 3,000 Gold Points will be awarded per member. Gold Points will appear on your account within 6-8 weeks of completing the survey. Program sounds kind of interesting. Hopefully they up the ways to earn points. I also like the ability to choose your benefits/guarantees. Interested to find out more.

I'm not sure it is going to be for the better. Considering one of the questions was what you prefer better points or recognition. It might be a change to stop awarding points in exchange to better treatment on site.

They were extremely vague on the new proposal (which of course means that the result of the survey could interpreted in any way they want to spin it).

The program they were proposing sounds like a cross between IC's Ambassador program and Kimpton's program. I think it all depends on what benefits are eventually offered and the price they are going to charge to join it. I was, however, disturbed by a couple questions that seemed to imply moving away from points and replacing Club Carlson with this new program wholesale.

Some more details from the survey - all conceptual at this point of course, but from the series of questions, sounds like it would be potentially at the cost of earning some points.

Funny how Gleff reports this on View From the Wing as breaking news. Guess it's been on FT for a few days now, and is not drawing much attention, even from within the CC crowd. I give it a..... yawn. Award nights aren't going anywhere, especially not since Carlson crawled in bed with US Bank!
