Best Buy to Name Hospitality Executive as New Chief
"Best Buy plans to name the chief executive of the hospitality company Carlson as its new leader, a person briefed on the matter said late on Sunday, as it said that an olive branch to its discontent founder was rejected.
Best Buy's naming of the Carlson chief, Hubert Joly, is likely to be the first of several disclosures the company plans to make to assure investors that the struggling electronics retailer can turn around its fortunes on its own."
