Where did you stay?
Park Inn Prague

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes, I love the property. Very nice rooms, good service and excellent location (close to everything, but outside the overly touristy area). Elite recognition is a bit meh (they do everything they have to do but not a bit more and without any enthusiasm), however with basic product being pretty good, I don't mind that.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
I booked standard room and I think I got superior room. No one mentioned anything but it was one of the larger rooms.

Did you receive elite benefits?
Complimentary Room Upgrade - I think so.
Early Check In/Late Check Out - I asked about possibility of late check-out (not requesting any specific time, I was on 21:09 train, so I wanted it as late as possible). They offered 14:00 and I accepted that.
In-Room Welcome Gift - Yes, two pieces of fruit.
Two bottles of water - Kinda. It was one bottle and it was very obviously tap water bottled by the hotel. In other words, they just bottled what's available on the tap in the bathroom. No big deal, water in Prague is OK but I found it a bit cheap (in a funny way - it's sort of falls into those stereotypes about Czechs and their "hlavně levně" approach ).

How are the rooms?
Nice and quite spacious.

What was good and what was bad?
Rooms are excellent, staff is great as well. Elite recognition could be a bit more heartfelt rather than just ticking the boxes.

Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
Yes. It's one of more expensive Park Inns but quality is on par with Blu so I don't mind that. With RB Prague being a bit too posh for my liking, this is my preferred hotel in Prague and I will be back.

Where did you stay?
Radisson Collection Royal Copenhagen

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
I booked collection room, got nice corner collection room (the highest category except suites).

Did you receive elite benefits?
Complimentary Room Upgrade - Yes.
Early Check In/Late Check Out - Asked for 1 PM check-out and got it (although staff was a bit reluctant)
In-Room Welcome Gift - No.
Two bottles of water - Yes, one still and one sparkling every day. But it doesn't seem based on status.

How are the rooms?
Well-designed and modern. Bedding is way too soft though.

What was good and what was bad?
I loved staff, they consistently strike the perfect balance between offering high-end service and being informal/friendly. Visits to bar were very nice experience.
I didn't like VERY soft bed (it took me some time - and some extra pillows - to find position where my back didn't hurt). Also, I was unable to reach front desk via phone at some times (no one picked up), which is a big no-no for me.

Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
Yes. Rate was acceptable for last-minute booking at good centrally located hotel in city such as Copenhagen.

Where did you stay?
Radisson Blu Resort & Spa @ Split, Croatia

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked a Junior Suite on points for 5 nights in the second week of October and got upgraded to a premium suite - corner room.

Did you receive elite benefits?
Complimentary Room Upgrade - Yes.
Early Check In/Late Check Out - Got 2 PM check-out.
In-Room Welcome Gift - Fruit, nuts and macaroons plate.
Two bottles of water - Yes. But only on the first day. I had to ask to get 2 water bottles a day.

How are the rooms?
Well-designed and modern. Very nice shower. Beautiful sea view from the balcony.

What was good and what was bad?
The premium suite was worth it for the point redemption. Free breakfast was good every day.
The location is far from the old town but it is walkable. We did walk to the town and back one day. The other day we took a taxi for 50 kuna.

Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
Yes.

Where did you stay?
Radisson Blu Prado, Madrid

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes. I've had a bit low expectations as this is relatively small property (not typical Blu) in an old building (which can be an issue space-wise) but it turned out to be very pleasant property and I've had a great stay. I would however recommend to go for one of higher room categories as the basic ones seem very compact.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
I booked superior room and got upgraded to premium room (basically getting a plaza view, which is nice as most rooms face very narrow streets).

Did you receive elite benefits?
Complimentary Room Upgrade - Yes.
Early Check In/Late Check Out - I arrived at 9:45 and got room straight away (very appreciated!). I did not request late check-out.
In-Room Welcome Gift - An apple.
Two bottles of water - I got one large bottle with my welcome gift + one smaller bottle of water in minibar was marked as complimentary for members. So yes.

How are the rooms?
Comfortable.

What was good and what was bad?
I loved the very comfortable firm bed (unlike supersoft beds at most RBs). Location is also very good.
The only downside was lack of natural light in the room as there was only one relatively small window on the side.

Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
I was happy with what I got for my money and I will use the property on my future trips to Madrid.

Where did you stay?
Park Inn Poznan, PL

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes, very much.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
I booked standard room and got very nice superior room with a balcony.

Did you receive elite benefits?
Complimentary Room Upgrade - Yes.
Early Check In/Late Check Out - I arrived at 10:00 and they checked me in without any issue. I did not request late check-out.
In-Room Welcome Gift - Yes, fruit platter.
Two bottles of water - Yes, every day.

How are the rooms?
Very nice, especially for Park Inn. Room was spacious and comfortable.

What was good and what was bad?
This is a new property, nicely designed and comfortable. I loved the bed (it seems like Radisson is finally moving away from the super-soft beds). Breakfast offer was also very nice.
Shower cubicle is door-less so it was impossible to not make a mess all over the bathroom floor when taking shower. But that was the only downside.

Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
I'm very satisfied with value for money and I would stay again.

Where did you stay?
Radisson Blu Sobieski, Warsaw

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
I booked standard room and got premium room with a city view.

Did you receive elite benefits?
Complimentary Room Upgrade - Yes.
Early Check In/Late Check Out - They checked me in when I arrived ~90 minutes before check-in time. Late check-out not requested.
In-Room Welcome Gift - Yes, fruit platter.
Two bottles of water - Yes.

How are the rooms?
I stay at Sobieski regularly, this was the best room I got there so far. It's located in 45 degrees "corners" of the building, giving it rather unusual layout which I loved. Bed is a bit too soft.

What was good and what was bad?
As I always, I enjoyed the food at the restaurant (both dinner and breakfast) and I really loved the room I got this time.
However, service is very cold, especially at restaurants.

Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
I stay here regularly, so I'm obviously happy

Where did you stay?
Park Inn Dresden

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes, good value at 15k/night, everything worked. Elite recognition needs work. Location might not suit everyone as its a tram ride to the Old Town

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
I booked standard room on points and I got comfort room. Recently refurbished

Did you receive elite benefits?
Complimentary Room Upgrade - yes.
Early Check In/Late Check Out - not needed
In-Room Welcome Gift - Yes, two bottles of water and an energy drink

How are the rooms?
Good size, recently refurbished, clean

What was good and what was bad?
One of the better Park Inn's
Elite recognition needs work, was offered to pay up front for breakfast at check in
WiFi is flaky and limited to 1 device
Room door is not on a spring so needs to be firmly closed behind you

Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
15k a night is solid value, but this is Dresden where rooms are much cheaper than most German locations

Radisson rewards gold member.
Booked at Country inn & suites, Niagara falls, Ontario,
Booked standard room and got standard room on higher floor. ( NO UPGRADE)
No welcome gift
No free water bottle
No recognition of my gold membership status.

Value for money? 38K points a night with no recognition of your status is not a good value

Radisson Salt Lake City Downtown

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Standard room, standard room.

Did you receive elite benefits?
- Room upgrade: No (didn't book the room myself)
- Early Check In: N/A
- Late Check Out: N/A
- In-Room Welcome Gift: Sometimes. Always two bottles of water. Once in the while a welcome bag with trail mix and a chocolate bar.

How are the rooms?
Rooms are dated but very comfortable. Refrigerator in every room. Views are great of Salt Lake City.

What was good, what was bad?
Good: Great located hotel in SLC. Convenient to literally everything. Free parking. Fantastic restaurant.
Bad: Rooms are quite dated. Driveway is confusing.

Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
Value N/A, since I didn't pay. I have paid before and I would certainly return.
Update...

Rooms have since been renovated, and they are even redoing some of the new rooms too. Both are very nice and modern.

About 80% of the time I get upgraded to the top floor, which has deluxe rooms with bathrobes, slippers, and mouthwash.

The gym is falling apart a bit, but the cardio machines are in good shape which is what matters to me. I adore the hot tub (the jets are on the bottom), but they took out the sauna.

I like this hotel very much. Looking forward to several stays here next month.

Where did you stay?
Radisson Blu Amsterdam

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes, everything worked.
Elite recognition, upgraded to a better room

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
I booked standard room on points and I got upgraded room.

Did you receive elite benefits?
Complimentary Room Upgrade - yes.
Early Check In/Late Check Out - not needed
In-Room Welcome Gift - Yes, bottle of water and an chocolate bar + note from manager

How are the rooms?
Good size, recently refurbished, clean. Nice bathroom, underfloor heating, big TV

What was good and what was bad?
Upgrade on a redemption booking, friendly staff
Location is just off the centre of Amsterdam so quiet by minutes walk from all the sights
Breakfast area was a bit small and congested
No way to get the AC to actually switch off

Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
70k a night is a lot but the cash rate was 321 euro/night so at the time of booking was a good deal.

Complimentary Room Upgrade - no, but...
Early Check In - not needed

I got a room on the newest renovated floor. Faux wood floor, local art, a cushioned headboard (!), and a transparent glass fridge. Very nice and quite modern.

Best location of any hotel in SLC.
Friendly staff.
Only real gripe is I booked a king bed and got two queens. Oh well.

Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
Got a discounted rate through my company, so very good value. Will definitely stay there again given the opportunity.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Standard room, no upgrade - I do get a room on the side with a view over the city compared to the back side rooms.

Friendly staff, great Swedish breakfast buffet (It is a feast).

Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
Discounted corporate rate which makes for a very good value.

What is your Club Carlson status?
Platinum (recently)

Where did you stay?
Park Plaza London Waterloo (note Radisson has 4 - Park Plaza hotels in this area) - mid DEC-2019

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
No - where do I begin - see below

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Standard room, NO upgrade, room felt like a "downgrade" - room had blocked view of the other rooms just across - had to keep blind down for privacy.

Did you receive elite benefits?
Complimentary Room Upgrade - NO
Early Check In - requested at check-in (2 hours before normal check-in - denied)
Late Check Out - Yes (offered 1 hour - that was all that I needed)
In-Room Welcome Gift - NO
Complimentary Breakfast - NO (typically this is a Platinum reward bonus)

How are the rooms
Positive - Nice modern room, comfortable bed, and a luggage rack in the room that holds 2 bags!
Negative - Avoid room 250
Negative - Room was cold - thermostat temperature setting made no change - had to use hair dryer for 15 minute runs to warm up room.
Negative - Bathroom mirror and lighting was very poor for shaving, mirror in room had better light.

What was good and what was bad?
Bad - Items listed above, Front desk at check-in was NOT friendly - arrived 2 hours early from normal check-in time and desk clerk refused early check.
Came back later in the day - and front desk had issue finding my reservation - finally a manager told desk person - just give him any room.
Room cold - talked with front desk manager after 2 night of a cold room - they did offer to move room - wife did not want to have to pack and unpack again. At that time we had discovered the hair dryer heater trick.

Good - Location - near to Waterloo station and across the street from the Lambeth underground stop, short walk to Southbank area.

Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
Used "points and cash" - assumed hotel marked me as a not important guest.
Return - NO way

Where did you stay?
Park Plaza London Waterloo

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
No

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Standard room, first floor, not an upgrade

Did you receive elite benefits?
Complimentary Room Upgrade - NO (and no access to the executive lounge)
Early Check In - not needed
Late Check Out - not needed
In-Room Welcome Gift - No

How are the rooms
Modern room, reasonably size, blackout blinds
Overly complex controls for lighting and AC
One of those strange open bathroom designs

What was good and what was bad?
Good
Modern appearance (might not be to everyones taste)
Bar was good
Bakerloo line station 3 minutes away. Depending on your needs location could be good
Some reasonable food options in the local area.

Bad
Minibar was a biological experiment, stains and out of date items
Breakfast was a mess lots of empty tables, staff just not clearing up quickly
No recognition of status and non compliance with program terms

Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
Corporate rate so was reasonable value, a lot better than some dumps I've stayed at in London.
Much better off over the the PP Westminster/Country Club if you can
