I can't even remember how long I've had my Goldpoints. They don't seem to expire. I think back in 2003 - 2005 I used them quite a bit. Only have about 700 left so I think this is a good time to refill.

According to Awardwallet, my Goldpoints expire in two years. I didn't read the t & c to find out what activity extends them.

Found the answer on Club Carlson website:

Do Gold Points expire?
No, Gold Points® do not have an expiration date as long as your account remains active by earning or redeeming within a 24 month period.

anyone else having problems signing family members?
I had the same problem when I tried to sign up my husband. I had to open a different browser on my computer. Then the registration went thru easily.

Msp2msy - thanks for the breakdown, but I think the cash & points amount is low. As Ambraciot pointed out to me earlier (Thanks! BTW), cash and points actually earn points on the cash portion of the rate. I think that you would have to subtract those points for your calculation. When I subtract out the points earned, I am coming up with approx 1 cpp.

So here are my other questions: Does Cash & Points earn a stay credit?
Does cash & points earn the 1,000/2,000 point booking bonus?

50,000 not reached yet at 9:08AM CST Nov 10

[QUOTE=TravelGuy1965;17424160]Edit: About 2 hours ago I didn't get the 'already registered message' but now I do.
Next Step is knowing for sure if I make the 50k.

*DATA POINT* I just spoke with a rep in the Club Carlson call center @ 888-288-8889. She said that as of 9:08AM CST today, Nov 10, the 50,000 registrant plateau has not been reached yet, so if you registered last night at midnight, or prior to 9:08AM CST today, you will get the 50,000 if you complete the rest of the T&C’s. She didn’t indicate how close to the 50K they were getting. She said that the first screen will change from 50K to 15K once the 50K registrants is reached.

As of the time of this post, I just registered and got the "50,000".

So I'm in US next 2 weeks, but of course no radisson in either Las Vegas or Miami. Question, if I book an adv purchase rate and do a no-show, will it count ?

Here's another post on that topic:

Seems hit or miss. Perhaps others can clarify their experience with receiving points on pre-paid, no show reservations through radisson.com vs. 3rd party booking sites.

Glad to hear that as I forgot about this and jumped out of bed this morning and registered at 6:30. I just got the "Congratulations! You are now registered" message.

I see the thread you quote talk about points, but it doesn't relate to doing a "no-show".

I was thinking of staying this weekend at a Radisson. But I wanted to use my USAir # to get an extra GS Hit. Does anyone know by doing this, will it negate my stay and this promo?

If your Club Carlson account is set up to earn miles, you will NOT get the 50,000 points from this promo.

Yes. You need to get Club Carlson points on your stay to receive the bonus. If you're staying more than one night, break it up into multiple reservations.

Well I just spoke to a CSR and her supervisor who both confirmed that even though you choose miles instead of points you will be ok for this promo and you will get the 50K
