thanx a lot !!

as I´m a independent engineer and working sometimes for siemens and also for ibm I just asked many times to get the codes for do the hotel-booking by my own, but everytime the travel-department told me that they only can arrange the booking for me, but not give me trhe code....

Guess that depends on the property and city. I can see my company on the list and it gives from zero to 50% in different cities. My guess is Companies like McKensey and KPMG have many nights in many large cities, so I would have started with those. But someone from McKensey is easy to spot, do you look like one?

just to understand: how do you give them the proof you're entitled to use the corp. rate?
I do not understand how these corp. codes are so easily available on the net!

if requested I show my employee identification card at c/i or c/o.
some properties also accept business card.
