LX: Status update - when?
As of Dec 22nd, I've accumulated enough miles for TravelClub Gold. The system is usually updated by the end of each month, but this time in my case nothing has happened yet and I am still listed as TC Silver. Also, I haven't gotten any e>anything bonuses for December.
Does anybody know if this is an individual case or if the system in general wasn't updated yet? ------------------ airOli, the Swiss Air Line. ;) |
Same here, no e bonus yetfor Dec 2002.
Nothing on the account for 2003-2004 status either. kooks. |

This is the case as soon as the statement line "xxxx points to (re)qualify" or "TC(Gold) membership valid until" line becomes visible. I'd wait for a few days. The year changes are often a little slower than the monthly rollover. If the above-mentioned statement lines arrive and you still don't have what you're looking for, ring TC(Gold) management in Switzerland. I had similar trouble in 2001 when TCGold started, despite a few anomalies in the system (trouble with club miles / bonus miles) in the qualifying year 2000, my status was changed "manually" to TCGold straight away. |
In the end, it took me two calls to TC Gold management to have my status upgraded manually. They said that it should have happened earlier automatically, but for some reason my account was left out.
But the person I spoke to was really friendly and competent and also sent me a fax confirmation so that I can use the new perks before the cards are being sent out. ------------------ airOli, the Swiss Air Line. ;) |
Congratulations for your new TC Gold membership Oli.

Merci!
atlantic, you've discovered my ultimate goal.... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif Seriously though, does anybody know what happened to those former QG Circle Members who were assured lifelong TravelClub (Silver) status? It seems to me that this is no "new" Circle perk anymore... ------------------ airOli, the Swiss Air Line. ;) |

quote from airoli:
"Seriously though, does anybody know what happened to those former QG Circle Members who were assured lifelong TravelClub (Silver) status? It seems to me that this is no "new" Circle perk anymore..." I can't help with that one, though I have another perhaps more realistic goal for long-time "travelclubbers". I once sat next to a AMP (airline management partnership) member of staff between ZRH and BRU, who seemed to think that there was some similar lifelong TC(silver) membership for "loyal" (i.e. QG Travelclub) members who had been in the programme (I assume (re)qualified) for at least 10 years. On the other hand, since Qualiflyer was only around 10 years, I wonder whether this ever applied to anybody. On a side note, can anyone tell me how to use the "quote" function please. I havn't been able to work that one out yet. |

Then there were those with connections to the upper management... (ahem) Unfortunately I am neither a Nobel Laureate nor a celebrity nor do I have any connections http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif - Does Dosé have a daughter? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif |
