Avis rate not eligible for mileage accrual.

I tryed to get credit for a rental in Tenerife and I got posted the following message into my qualiflyer account: "Avis rate not eligible for mileage accrual".

Should i try to credit that rental into another ff program?

Yes, I would.

It depends on which other programmes you use. In my case, I find 1,000 Virgin miles difficult to disagree with. Avoid the US programmes if you can, as they give measly amounts.

Since i have Air France FFP as my second account, i'll try to put the credit there.

But i'll have to run because of 6 months limit to claim credit.

Wrong again: Air France needs flight with the rental. I've used Spanair that time.

Now i'll try British Airways or KLM.
