C lounge in Amsterdam.

Anybody knows, what's the Swiss C-lounge standard on Schipol (AMS?). Do they have a showers?
I'm going to spend the night on there http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif - so I want to refresh after arriving from Basel....

Waiting for som info

They use a shared lounge there which if I recall correctly is called "Menzies" or so. Very basic amenities, no showers. And I don't think it's open during the night... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

The AMS C lounge is C as in "Cr*p".

It's the worst lounge I have ever been in.

Wait till you get to one of LOT's two "Executive Lounges" in WAW. AMS is heaven compared to that.

I've found one of LOT's Executive lounges in WAW to be quite nice. A huge selection of drinks & juices (probably 8 different types of juices) and a variety of potato chips and candy. Plus an internet terminal as well. A-LOT http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif more offerings than some lounges I've been in.

Thanks.
Att. from Swiss told me that they share "Aero Grand", but I didn't found any on Schiphol.nl .
I just want to take a shower before before having fun in AMS.... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I have to disagree with HajoFlyer. Most likely HajoFlyer refers to the times he had to share the WAW lounge with Party bosses getting drunk while waiting to fly back to Moscow. LOT significantly improved in recent years.

I know both WAW and AMS lounges and I've found the LOT lounge in WAW nice and quite acceptable. Friendly staff, good selection of drinks, a huge selection of cookies, candies and juices and a reasonable selection of international newspapers. However no showers and no views of the airport.

Amsterdam has windows providing an airport view over a roof, an acceptable selection of refreshments, more worn out furniture and no showers. At present LOT offers a better service than some lounges I've been in, and surely WAW is better than AMS.

Having been in the LOT lounge at WAW last November and the Qualiflyer C class lounge in AMS in March, I'd have to agree that the WAW lounge wins hands down.

I hated most things about my brief trip to Warsaw. the lounge at WAW was one of the few things I remember with any fondness.
