1 CHF = 1 miles with the promotion.
1 EUR = 1 miles but you wont get 1 miles for 0.5 EUR.

Austrian AMEX Card holders who participate in the Membership Rewards Program earn for € 1,-- 1 Membership Rewards point.
Without any promotion we can convert 17 Membership Rewards Points in 10 QG miles, which is a very low rate indeed (€ 1,-- = 0,588 QG miles). This is the reason why I prefer to use my Airplus Diners Club Card [€ 1,-- = 1,1 M&M miles) or my Austrian Airlines VISA Card (€ 1,-- = 1 M&M miles) and transfer my miles to M&M.
During this promotion period we can convert 17 Membership Rewards Points in 20 QG miles, which is acceptable (€ 1,-- = 1,176 QG miles).

Works perfectly for UK members as well!!!!
Transferred 10,000 points online yesterday, which shows as 20,000 Qualiflyer points on my online statement today!
Living in Norway, this is definetely one of the best deals ever, as I can travel anywhere in Europe on a reward C class ticket for a meager 12,500 MR points.
Definetely transferring a large amount later today...

Viking, when trying to log into my account, I always get "We are extremely sorry, the system has experienced an unexpected error. Please try again". How could you log in?

I have also experienced this from time to time, usually at times when they are upgrading the site. Also, up until this month the transfer of points was both problematic and erratic, but seems to be up and running well at this time.
But: There's always the phone to the MR department!

Qualiflyer is the organisaton that does the transaction so if amex books the points, qualiflyer is doing the double up.

Just another confirmation (this time for Germany)...
Amazing, I entered the transfer request on 15/08/02 with the Amex website, and the miles showed on my QG account today, just one day later:
15.08.02 Promotion Double Miles 2002 - 10 years Qualiflyer 103000
15.08.02 American Express AMERICAN EXPRESS MEMBERSHIP MILES 103000
Happy flying,
