Bonus Miles

I am currently 3000 miles short of the award I have been hoping to take, and so was pleased to see the 4000 bonus miles for the e-news. Only I note eligibilty is based on previous activity in the account, and my travel plans have changed with no forseeable qualiflyer flying.
Can anybody think of a way I can get some activity on my account.
4000 miles may be a small amount but in this case it means a lot. All advice greatly appreciated.
Cheers in advance.

1. Register at www.webmiles.ch/qualiflyer for 1000 miles. (You'll have to put swiss address but it doesn't have to be real one http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif )
2. Order calling card from Swisscom (more info on Qualiflyer website). First call earns 1000 miles as well.
3. Buy something at www.lesen.ch - 1st order will earn you 1000 miles + 1mile/CHF + current 100% bonus (I bought vinyl record for ca. 3 or 5 CHF + p&p and I've got 1000 welcome + 6 base + 6 promo miles; doesn't matter that I don't have gramophone http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif )

Enjoy

G-BOAA in order to get some activities in your account you get buy in DutyFree in Switzerland or Belgium and present your QG card.
You get also rent a car (Hertz,Avis,Sixt..)
You can spend the night in various Hotels.

You can also subscribe online to www.webmiles.ch or www.lesen.ch and get miles if the promotions are still open.

If there is other way I thinh of I will let you know.

Your last option would be to buy two blocks of 2000 miles for USD59.- each. This can now be done via the QG service center.

www.lesen.ch seems like a good opportunity to me. The cheapest crap they have is some booklets for CHF 1 ! Go to expert search for books and you can enter a price range, then you will get a list of books in that range. Shipping to Switzerland was CHF 6, but CHF 7 for 1001 miles is still a good deal.

Dial for Miles;
register by email and get 100 miles + 50 miles on your birthday , and when visiting Belgium roaming with the Mobile provider Mobistar get miles with every call.

see for more info:
http://www.mobistar.be/en/internatio...for_miles.html

you can enroll online on the above url

Anybody willing to receive that bundle of "books" at his / her swiss mailing adress?

[Have a German mailing adress only and that would result in "unnecessary" s&h costs...]

BTW: Couldn't find that search option by price, but found some other no-cost articles:

Oxford New Headway English Course Upper Intermediate Tests Booklet:
ISBN 0-19-470248-0

Test Booklet
New Headway English Course. Beginners:
ISBN 3-464-12161-5

Didn't find anything for 1 CHF, though...

****, Absik001, you beat me.... Didn't know about the "order 3 things and don't pay shipping". Oh well....
Sometimes I'm thinking I must be mad to do stuff like that to get miles.... But once I sit in an airplane sipping champagne, those thoughts subside pretty fast...

Hi!
Does "Vielen Dank für Ihre Bestellung" mean that order is confirmed?
I tried to make an order, but my german / swiss-german language is non-existent and therefore I am not sure did I succeeded or not. Card is not charged so far.

fokker50 Jul 23, 2002 7:46 am

Yes, I I did receive something from lesen.ch and I suppose it is confirmation e-mail (I do not understand a word http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif ).
