Any chance of the RTW award returning?
 

Thye said that they withdrew it for "contractual reasons". Any chance of it coming back once the airline is back on its feet post March?

once the future partnerships (alliances) are clear I expect rtw-offers.

They still are in discussions with all Alliances. The major new SWISS shareholders (Swiss confoederation, canton of Zurich) will only agree if that pertnerships will support a Zurich (intercontinental) hub.

Still no news?

Is the lack of OW membership delaying this?

I e mailed Qualiflyer via the new webiste and got this response:

Dear Mr. Harte


This is with reference to your email.

We wish to inform you that the Qualiflyer Management has not yet made
any
such comments on restoring the Round the World Award.

As soon as they take any such decision all Qualiflyer members will be
informed accordingly. However, currently the award has been withdrawn.

We thank you for your understanding and co-operation in this regard.
