my bet is:

the partnership with Delta may break (SR dislikes the new Delta-Air France connection, Delta/Air France dislike the new SR dominance of AOM - Air France's biggest competitor in their home-market) - Swissair is (together with their 49% daughters AOM, Sabena and their close partner Austrian Airlines) discussing a possible Air One partnership.

Thanks for all your insight as usual! How soon do you think all of this will be playing out? Do you think it is safe for DL elite flyers to rely on SR flights this summer for requalification purposes and vice-versa - Qualiflyer members relying on DL flights for Travel Club requalification?

Safe? probably yes - till now - Swissair was quite fair giving advance notice about future changes of their Qualiflyer program/partners/rules. And you always had a certain "mercy"-time.
