lost miles?
I've been to south-east asia last spring. I flew in and out with SIA (Business class) and had 2 flights within SE-asia, from Singapore to Penang with MAS (eco) and from Bangkok to Singapore (SR). Unfortunately I wasn't member of any FF-program. Being one with the SR-Qualiflyer I would have earned quite a lot miles. Does anybody know if these miles are totally lost (they propably are...) or is there any possibility to save some?

sorry - no chance with the Qualiflyer program for credits on past flights.
Not only the general rules of the SRQF-program are opposed to that - Singaporte airlines has left (or will leave?) the program (or will leave?). But to be sure, I will look it up tonight at home (it is no 6:30pm local swiss time). |
I checked: those miles are not lost - it is worse, they were NEVER EARNED. the rules say: only active Qualiflyer member can earn miles and no retroactiv credits are given.
But it may still be worth a telefon call to your Qualiflyer Service Center: in Germany call 0180 50 50 510 in USA call 800 211 81 25 |
(from actual webflyer)
Qualiflyer is bereft of Singapore Airlines as of February 1. Members can collect miles until March 31, and redeem tickets until January 31, 2000. |
