Not anytime soon, I'm afraid. Better to credit these miles to one of their partner airlines (easy to say in retrospect ).

a number of star alliance airlines are qatar airways partners

QR, or at least their qmiles.com website, has links to those partners.

The partner award chart applies for travel on all Privilege Club partner airlines.
The total Qmiles required to redeem for a partner award ticket will depend on the total miles flown during the trip.
Members can combine several partner airlines on the same ticket.
To request a partner award, please log on to your account and complete the partner award request form.
For *A airlines you should check award availability for your desired dates with the ANA tool before sending your request.

For US to carrib, you have the option of UA and US airways. For US to Europe you have Lufthansa, Virgin and BMI in addition to United and US airways. You will have to call QR for redemption.

If you accrue on US it is counted as EQM.

I can't get the US Club website to load

Any idea of the number of miles per year for Gold status? I'm gold on TG and BMI, and throwing QR miles into BMI at the moment to get the 200+ %... but I need to plan ahead of Nov 2010 when my TG gold will expire.

Thanks ^

It takes 25K for silver, 50K for gold, 75k for Platinum and 100K for Chairmans
