MUC-DOH in C on QR or LH

Hi,
How does the C class on QR's A330-300 compares to the LH C class product?

anyone here that experienced both?

Thanks,
CL

QR is better than LH in terms of food and drinks. The seats are more or less on the same level of comfort - I, personally, could not say i prefer the one over the other. In regards of the entertainment system QR is better, but then these flights are not that long. Service-wise, I like QR more but I am sure there are others who would prefer LH.

The main point for me would be the return flight, where if flying QR you will be allowed to use the Premium Terminal which is very nice, whilst if flying LH you would be limited to the dump they call an airport which resembles more a (busy) train station of the fifties than an airport.

So, unless you are after status miles on LH I would go for QR.

I forgot to mention, that if price is an issue QR will be significantly cheaper than LH.

I'd base it on price and in 10 out of 10 cases QR will be cheaper.

I've found QR C more of a 'relaxing' flight than LH. I don't know if it's a function of the crew and/or fellow passengers - or the subtle lighting! - but I prefer QR.

I now fly TG or LH until I've qualified for a year or two on *A (for which I use a BMI card), then continue flying on QR for the points, imho more comfortable journey, avoiding oft-crowded lounges in German airports, and much much much cheaper prices.

Downside, no status points on *A, and if anything goes wrong on QR you're on your own.

It might depend on the aircraft type too. The A330-300s tend to have the better lie-flat seats than the ones offered on some of the older A330-200s.

Meal service on QR is much better than LH. Full placings without the tray! ^
