Qpoints miscalculation in dashboard
 

Hi,
I have a strange issue in my dashboard,
It says I need 101 qpoints to maintain Gold. Last week I also got an email by QR reminding me I need those 101 qp.
In my flight activity, If I sum up all qpoints got since the start of gold period 29, October, 2024), It looks I need 131 not 101. I call CC, they recalculated everything and confirmed I need 131. Agent told me it is glitch of the system.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue?

you actually called them because you wanted that error corrected to your disadvantage? I would just wait and see what happens after you collected 101 P

The requalification requirements are, at least to me, not nearly as straightforward as they could be. About a year ago, my dashboard showed the message "Your have the Q-points to retain Platinum" and yet I had not (yet) flown a single QR sector in my requalification year. As I understand, you may have the Q point but without the QR sectors, you cannot requalify. I double checked that with QR, and the agent also said it was "probably a glitch."

I am pretty sure though that, whether or not is is a glitch, QR will downgrade your account if according to them you have not met the requirements for requalification.

Maybe I am wrong. But remember that QR also looks at the past 24 Months. If you earned 300 in the past 12 months BEFORE qualifying for GOLD (on 29 October 2024), then you only need and additional 240 points to requalify the next year (total 540). The 30 points discrepancy would suggest so.My understanding is that one would first qualify for God needs 300, then only 240 the next 12 months to retain Gold.
