I feel (and I think most people will agree) that QR have one of, if not the best business class offerings available at the moment, but it got me thinking about other things that I like on other airline's business class that I would like to see on QR.

I'll start: garlic bread. A lot of airlines have garlic bread, but I have never seen it on QR.

Yet they serve it in Al Safwa with a bowl of pasta, which I find a bit strange!

Can it start with a Q?

QarlicBread ©️

Some of the cute things from elsewhere over the years have relied on a trolley, and hence most people eating at the same time. MH's satay trolley, VS's dessert, cheese & port trolley of old, that sort of thing. I'm sure back in the olde black and white days there were even crew carving you a thick slice of chateubriand or snipping the end off your cigar for you.

These days though with increasingly individual service in enclosed little seat cabins, none of that theatrical type stuff really works. But ice lollies on long flights, or other snacking stuff that doesn't require the table setting up would be nice. Something in scale between the cookies & nuts and the fully plated meal. Perhaps QarlicBread ©️ is just that thing!

On QR you now get a big pillow and and a small one. Also a huge thick blanket. I usually take a second one to put under me on the seat to make it softer.

Garlic on a plane does not sound like a good plan to me...

Frankly, Coca-Cola products instead of Pepsico. Returning to the US, I can't even buy my own due to the double security screening. Ask any person who actually distinguishes the difference in taste, and it makes a difference. I recognize how absolutely minor that sounds, but it was the singular thing that made my dining experience less-than-ideal on the way home. I love my Diet Coke with my food that much, and for 14 hours, that matters. Still fabulous service, of course! Most other oneworld offer Coke products, however.

I think they moved over to Coca Cola products since the World Cup, but who knows how long it stays that way! I definitely had a QR branded Sprite can on a recent flight.

That's a really good one and something I would love to see, even if it was only offered in Doha, like EY in AD.

Better quality bedding, amenity kits and slippers on flights longer than 4 hours, return the multiple hot towel service (based on flight length), make the QR F flights within ME true First Class with F wines and champagnes (they used to do this years ago).

Erm, they need to make the longhaul F true First Class again first!

The hot towel one is a key one for me - the Diptyque packaged towels are horrible IMO, I don't even bother to open them. Going back to 100% cotton pajamas is my other main request. Most of the changes I would like are basically returning QR to what it was five years ago rather than needing to copy other airlines.
