Bummer QR has done away with it. Never had the LP Rose being discussed above but looking forward to trying it.

The LP Rose is exquisite. LH still serves it too.

Looking forward to trying it. The Brut on QR F now is just the Heidsick? Thats the same thing AA serves when you walk into the FL now? Or maybe its better vintage on QR? Although the Heidsick AA offers is actually not bad and I prefer it to the Moet that people seem to enjoy at QF F at LAX. Food is my thing though and on the champagne front I am in the learning process still. I will probably get killed for saying this but had Salon for the first time recently on a JL F flight and dont understand what is so amazing about it. I still think Krug is the best from what I have tried.

EVA used to offer Krug (rose) in Business class on select routes (NYC, Paris, etc.) pre-covid. Not sure whether they still do.

Anybody flown DOH-HKG in F on QR818 recently? Have a flight planned for later this year and would be interested to see what is offered onboard. Tried to search but couldn't find any results.

Has anyone had recent experience on the DOH-MLE flight? Does anyone know what food/drink is on offer for a 03:00 departure? I think it unlikely we'll do more than sleep/snooze on this flight and make use of the return MLE-DOH a few weeks later as it's a more reasonable 21:05 departure!

Anyone has a recent experience with LHR-DOH (08.30am departure)? It looks like for a long time they didn't have caviar service, but a recent report in this thread (June flight) shows they did serve caviar?

Confirming that at the moment there is indeed a caviar service on QR6. And it's actually a good quality oscietra, I was very impressed (among the best caviar I've had on planes). It's served together with 3 slices of balik salmon.

QR is getting down wiv da boyz - the current champagne being served in F is Armand de Brignac Brut Gold.

I found it surprisingly quaffable. Something positive from Jay-Z, in its very distinctive (and expensive looking) bottle.
