Q Suites - separate booking but trying to sit together
Both times I have called in, normal agent (non - supervisor) has been unable to get system to allow us to sit together in center EF seats. Two of us traveling together. Is it best to escalate to supervisor? All of the seats show as blocked on Expert Flyer and the agent I last spoke with even said they were available but couldn't move us there. I suggested trying to combine our bookings but he didn't seem to understand what I meant. Any advice?

Thank you for this data point. I messaged them today and they were unable to help. Not sure if there is a particular issue with my routing or booking.

On an "R" codeshare flight booked via AA. Fully flex/refundable from AA. OW Sapphire status too. I was able to select single window seats for us, QR just seems to be unable to unblock the E/F middle pair.

I first messaged them on Facebook but they said it can't be done. So I messaged them on Twitter and they were able to select the middle E/F seats for me. So maybe give their FB a try?

It's the competence of the agent rather than the platform. I imagine its the same people answering messages from both Twitter and Facebook.
