Moved from QR to BA for DOH-LHR, Lounge?
 

We are flying AKL-DOH-LHR in Feb, we were on QR business all the way but have been moved to BA for the DOH-LHR leg.

We're flying business, I'm OWE, my wife is OWS.

Will we still have AM access due to arriving on QR Business or will we have to use the OWE Platinum lounge in DOH before leaving for LHR on BA?

If you had AM lounge access before, you will still have AM lounge access as that is dictated by your fare and not your OW status. Any business fare bucket apart from P gives you AM access.

AM is a QR lounge, not OneWorld.
We are no longer flying QR on DOH-LHR we are flying BA.
But, as our inbound leg to DOH is QR in business, does that get us AM access?
I'm pretty sure that flying BA in business does not get you access to AM.

It does, you can visit AM on oneworld business tickets (apart from QR P class).

Why don't you get rebooked back onto QR?

Well that should put the 'I've lost my QSuite' threads into perspective. I'd protest very strongly about this!

It's a shortish flight, and we have Q Suites on the AKL-DOH leg, so new Club World Suite will be fine. But mainly because we'll get into T5 rather have to transfer from T4.

Yes, it'll be a step down, but it's not too bad.
