Qatar Holidays basic info

Hi,
I was browsing on qatarairways.com for a tickets to MLE (from PRG) on a QR operated flights and I just checked for fun the Flight + Hotel section and I am quite astonished with the prices. Simply if I just search for the very same flights included in the flights+hotel bundle on qatar website I get a price around 7000USD for the flights itself, but whole package (flights + hotel) with the same flights cost around 9200USD. The funny thing is that the hotel listing price itself without flights is around 1000USD/night. So the question is how so? Is there some hidden problem or some missing surcharge?

The only suspicious thing I noticed is that you are paying to some TUI company based in Singapore so I guess the flights are purchased from 3rd party OTA? If that is the case can you upgraded your flight using AVIOS or is it forbidden if you did not purchase the flights directly with QR?

You will have to deal with Qatar Airways Holidays for any upgrade related queries. Just like BA Holidays bookings, I suspect the "normal" QR customer service line would probably not be able to service your booking and rather direct you to contact the Qatar Airways Holidays phone line (if they have one) or email.

This isn't uncommon for package holiday bookings to have substantial discounts/benefits like this. It is quite frequently seem on BA Holidays as well where sometimes just adding a car for one night can subsidise the flight cost quite a bit. The final price you see prior to payment will be what you pay to QR Holidays. It is worth reading the fine print to ensure the hotel doesn't charge any extra local resort fees or taxes or whatever. This should usually be mentioned somewhere along the booking pathway.

I found flights to be more expensive using the QR holidays - when I added a stopover in Doha the price of the flight alone went up by $200.
