QR Lounge Access
Hi Guys,
Silly question, I hope:
I'm a BA Gold/OneWorld Emerald member, so in theory qualify for lounge access in DOH.
I've seen QR marketing various types of tickets, including a 'business basic', which has no lounge access.
If I was to buy a 'business basic' ticket, would that in effect bar me from lounge access in DOH, even though I'm an Emerald?
Or is it targeted at non-status members who don't/won't intend to use a lounge?

Upgrade using Avios
Hello
I have upgraded to Business using avios and I anticipated having no access to Al Mourjan Lounge and only the Saphire Lounge (Gold) but when I looked at the lounge booking I am apparently eligible to the platinum lounge while I am only Saphire OW.
Can someone enlighten me on what are the various rules ?

Thanks any reason being granted access to the platinum lounge (while being Saphire only) is it because of upgrade to business ticket ?
