Good grief, well... as a Brit I can tell you that isn't fish and chips, but I suppose you have to work with what you've got in the sky. Why are your goujons on a drip?
We thank you for taking one for the team though!

I guessed the drip was vinegar to drip on the dish as desired

I am genuinely delighted that someone was able to report on this just before my flight where it is being offered in 2 hours time so I don't need to

Wow the "fish and chips" on F are quite... something. Too bad we mere mortals on the J on the QR833 (BKK-DOH on A330-300) had to make do with a relatively pedestrian Thai/international menu:
Thankfully given the 20:25 scheduled departure, this was a proper dinner menu and not restricted to light bites. Service was professional from the beginning with a welcome drink offered as soon as I sat down in 1A - save an abrupt if comical moment during the short delay to pushback (we'd been buckled in our seatbelts for a while): I'd finished a glass of the excellent Laurent Perrier Rose champagne, and asked a passing FA if I could have a glass of the Classic champagne in the meantime. He obliged gladly, but upon taking a sip another FA came and curtly requested that I finish the glass or she'd take it away, as we were now pushing back. As I downed the bubbles I joked that the last time I'd done this was my bachelor party. This brought a smile to the FA as she efficiently cleared away the glass.
Shortly after takeoff, the same FA (who had now warmed up slightly) asked for my menu choices and thoughtfully asked if I'd like my meal straight after takeoff so I could sleep afterwards and if I preferred to lie in rather than being awaken for breakfast. I accepted both suggestions and was impressed that the dinner service started in no more than 10 minutes.
Warmed bread roll with tomato and chilli dressing
Ian Kittichai's signature grilled tiger prawn with winged bean salad
Ian Kittichai's Southern Thai gor lae chicken breast with red chilli paste
Overall it was a decent meal, flavourful and nicely presented and as good as any QR J meal I've had. Not to the same level of Thai Airways J offering pre-pandemic (some of the best Thai food and in-flight food I've had anywhere), but to be fair TG don't offer a decent Arabic breakfast!

Amateur.... professional alcoholics (me) always have their own paper-cup at hand or ask to to be served the PDchampagne in a plastic/paper cup. You'll enjoy it while taking off.
