Only 1 mattered in this case, upgrades don't grant lounge access nor extra baggage allowance.

If it helps, I just flew from Melbourne to LHR via Doha, in Y, with a guest, and I am QA Platinum (from the status match offer in 2020). I thought we would try the Al Mourjan lounge and we were ushered in without any issue at all, so at the moment (mid June), they were still happy to let back-of-the-plane passengers in with a Platinum card. Hope this helps.
